Jonathan Zimmerman, pioneer architect of the monolithic dome, designed this home for ranch living in Montana. In 2000, the concept for the design was so new to the area that financing became the obstacle to completing construction. The building footprint is 2,262 sq ft.; the net square footage for the two floors is 2,257 sq ft. The open floor plan and the inclusion of two den areas makes the space adaptable for various uses.
The architectural plan comes complete with all blueprints plus engineering analysis by Arnold Wilson. The total cost was approximately $16,000, but would be available for sale for $10,000.
