The 2” shotcrete nozzle connects with a Heavy-Duty end and clamp. The complete nozzle consists of a Chamber Body, Atomizer Sleeve, “rubber” tip, air connect assembly (includes valve, elbow, and air hose quick connect), and blow back insert.
The “rubber” tips are made of special plastics for durability and abrasive resistance. The 2” tip is of our own design and made especially for us. It is much longer and much better than the shorter conventional tips.
The longer tip gives more time for the air to mix with the shotcrete, forcing it to travel faster. This helps the shotcrete wrap around the rebar. It also keeps the spray stream together better for longer spray distance and less rebound.
The blow back insert fits the Chamber Body when the Atomizer Sleeve is removed. It is used to blow the contents of the pump line backwards towards the pump. This is of help to clear plugs and useful for cleaning the pump lines.
